RELL Seas Weapons Guide
RELL Seas weapons are built around class-based tradeoffs rather than a single best option. The game’s weapon pool includes swords and firearms, and each weapon type brings different strengths in speed, range, damage, and combat utility.
Weapon classes
Weapons are categorized into four classes:
| Class | General role |
|---|---|
| Light | Faster weapons with lighter handling |
| Medium | Balanced weapons |
| Heavy | Slower, harder-hitting weapons |
| Ranged | Weapons built around distance |
That class structure also shows up in swords, where community guides describe three sword styles: light, medium, and heavy blades. In practice, that means your weapon choice is less about a universal tier list and more about matching your preferred pace and engagement range.
Swords
Swords are one of the most flexible weapon types in RELL Seas because every weapon type has an M1. Community explanations also show that swords can do more than basic melee strings.
Sword combat features
Swords support:
- M1 attacks
- Tilt attacks
- Clashes
- Bullet reflection
- Upgrades
Bullet reflection is timing-based: players report that you can reflect bullets by clicking M1 at the right moment, right as you hear the shot sound.
Sword progression
Weapons can be upgraded through Blacksmith NPCs found on various islands. That makes upgrading part of the normal island-to-island progression loop rather than a separate system.
Guns and unique class weapons
Community breakdowns describe five gun-related types in total:
- Sidearms
- Rifles
- Snipers
- Heavy guns
- Unique class weapons
The “unique class” covers weapons that do not fit neatly into the standard gun category, with bows and slingshots given as examples. This makes the ranged side of the game broader than a simple firearm list.
Choosing a weapon
Because every weapon type has an M1, all weapon families remain viable in basic combat. The main differences come from how they handle:
- Speed
- Range
- Damage
- Combat interactions
If you want quick, close-quarters pressure, lighter weapons and swords tend to fit that style better. If you want more reach or a dedicated ranged option, guns and unique class weapons give you more distance-based choices.
